Jeff Mowatt - Purpose Activist & Practitioner
Many thanks to Jeff Mowatt who supplied links & suggestions to material to include in this week's issue of Values News.
This week's theme is summed up very nicely by these three images...
Minessence Key Affiliate Jackie Le Fevre is now about half way through her doctoral research at the University of Hertfordshire exploring conscious connection with values and wellbeing.
Jackie has a short online anonymous questionnaire on that topic (only takes about 5 minutes to complete) and would be deeply grateful for more participants.
There are nine short questions which invite you to share your reflections on various aspects of life and values.
Thank you in advance for your participation,

Values, Motivation, & Creativity
As you will have noted, I strongly argue that, "It doesn't matter what values people have. What matters, is how they live them." What also matters is we don't try and force people to live the values of someone else, that's tantamount to slavery.
People are only motivated through the energy released in being able to live their own values--forcing people to live values other than their own is demotivating and unproductive. Here are some links to material which reinforce this perspective:

Key Principle of Values Education
The AVI (A Values Inventory) was designed to help people identify their values. It's false to assume most people know what their values are. In reality, most people are living the values of other's. Only when we undertake a conscious process taking an inventory of our values, identifying why these values are important to us, then committing to those we choose to commit to, are we able to live our own values.
